The Swachh Gwalior Abhiyan follows a coordinated approach in which sanitation challenges are identified, studied and converted into structured action plans with the participation of organizations, volunteers and citizens.
Ground-level sanitation problems are identified through community interaction, ward-level observation and coordination with participating organizations.
Identified problems are discussed and analysed so that practical solutions can be planned according to location, need and available resources.
Responsibilities are distributed among functional teams so that planning, awareness, training, communication and execution move together.
Regular meetings provide a common platform for each working team to review completed activities, plan upcoming programmes, collect suggestions from associated organizations and prepare the next course of action.
